Dr. Courtney Grant is a board-certified vascular surgeon specializing in both minimally invasive and traditional surgical treatments for peripheral arterial disease, venous disorders, aneurysms, and dialysis access. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then completed her general surgery residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital and a vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, where she trained under some of the nation’s leading vascular experts.


Before joining Atlanta Vascular Specialists, Dr. Grant practiced at Longstreet Clinic, providing comprehensive vascular care in both hospital and outpatient settings. She is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. Committed to mentorship and education, she previously served as a high school biology teacher through Teach for America and continues to advocate for diversity in medicine. She holds multiple state medical licenses and certifications, including RPVI, ACLS, BLS, and ATLS.

What do you love most about getting to serve patients in your home state?


Georgia is home, when it comes to practicing medicine, there is something to be said about connecting with your patients and your colleagues. Having a common bond and feeling at home makes it all the more fulfilling.
