Eric D. Wellons, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Eric Daniel Wellons was born on May 3, 1968, in Yokosuka, Japan. In 1987, he participated in the Dartmouth Foreign Study Program in Beijing, China. Also in 1987, he joined the Chinese program of the University of Massachusetts Exchange Program in Taichung, Taiwan.

In 1990, Dr. Wellons graduated from Dartmouth College, then he completed the Chinese Language Program at Middlebury College in 1992. In 1995, Dr. Wellons graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. While in medical school, he also completed a Traditional Chinese Medicine externship at the Shanghai Mental Health Hospital in Shanghai, China from 1992 to 1993.

Dr. Wellons has also been educated in other areas of practice, including advanced trauma life support, advanced laparoscopic techniques and vascular laboratory interpretation.

Dr. Wellons makes his home in Newnan, GA with his wife Quynh and their twins Sovi and Daniel.
